Bitcoin Miami 2023 marks the third and most memorable Bitcoin conference for DIBA and team. For those who may not know, our journey began back in 2021 when we participated as one of the top 10 teams in the pitching competition. The following year, we proudly became official partners and had the honour of representing our artists at the Bitcoin gallery.
However, it is this year that truly stands out, as we made a significant milestone by launching our products on the private mainnet during the conference. It has been an incredible journey, and if there’s one thing we’ve learned, it’s that all roads lead to Bitcoin Conference wether its Miami or Nashville.
This past May, the majority of our team members had the opportunity to meet in person for the first time, flying in from various corners of the globe to build and launch together. The energy and excitement were palpable, further solidifying our bond as a team.
So let’s us share with you some highlights of our Bitcoin Miami 2023.
BITBREAD MADE BY OONA
If you missed out on being at the conference on DAY1 and didn’t attend our unforgettable launch party in collaboration with Nolcha Shows, you definitely missed a lot. And when we say “a lot,” we mean an extraordinary performance by one and only - incredible OONA. The pseudonymous conceptual artist engaged the audience in a truly unique way, inviting them to participate in activities like chunking butter and selling a loaf of bread. What made this particular loaf of bread extraordinary was the fact that it had the BitMask wallet baked inside.
On May 18, at the silent auction held at the Nolcha Shows, OONA sold this extraordinary loaf of bread to a collector named Vladimir Kravets for 0.5 BTC, equivalent to just over $13,400. It was a remarkable moment, merging art, technology, and Bitccoin into a single, captivating experience.

CONFERENCE & PANEL TALKS
While we may not have had the opportunity to speak on a panel during this year’s conference, we had the pleasure of being a part of insightful talk hosted by Crypto Meghan at the Bitcoin & Brunch event held at the Sagamore Hotel Miami Beach.
The discussion featured the brilliant minds of DIBA & BitMask Team such as Gideon Nweze and Hunter Beast, who shared their expertise and perspectives on Utility on Bitcoin. It was an engaging and thought-provoking conversation that delved into the latest trends, challenges, and opportunities within the ecosystem.
Our iconic booth, number 344, was ablaze with excitement throughout the conference. Visitors of all ages flocked to our booth, eager to test their luck and skill with the DIBA Claw machine. From the youngest attendees to the oldest, everyone wanted a chance to win exclusive DIBA merch or some fun toys, making our booth a hub of activity and anticipation.
On the first day of the conference alongside with the entertainment, attendees had the opportunity to meet and greet our performing artist, OONA. As a unique proof of work, visitors enthusiastically participated in butter-chunking activities, solidifying their involvement in the upcoming BitBread Auction. It was a remarkable experience, witnessing the fusion of art and blockchain technology.
Days two and three brought even more excitement, as conference-goers had the opportunity to meet more of our team members in person and ask all the questions they had about our launched products.
Our booth became a gathering place, where individuals could not only get “orange pilled” by DIBA and enjoy the music beats from our neighbours Betcoin but also taste the best orange pills they had ever encountered, according to the honest opinions of the visitors ;)
